What if I told you there is a universal life force that pervades all living beings, which can be used to heal the body and mind, and to reach a state of equilibrium? This energy exists and it is called Reiki.
Reiki was developed by Mikao Usui in 1922 as a spiritual practice and a form of alternate healing. He taught this technique to more than 2000 people. 16 of them reached the Master or Teacher level. Now the system has thousands of adherents all over the world and has become a major alternate healing technique.
Reiki can reduce your stress and help you enter a state of relaxation, while promoting healing. It uses a technique called hands-on-healing, or palm healing. Here, universal energy or Reiki is transferred through the proponent's palms as Qi or life force. Reiki believes that if your life force is low, you are likely to feel stressed or fall ill. When it is high, you will be healthy and happy.
There are many schools of Reiki, but I follow and practice the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition founded by Mikao Usui. It is closest to the original Reiki techniques that were developed in Japan and it has a number of differences compared to Western Reiki.
The word Reiki actually comprises two words - Rei and Ki meaning "sou", "spiritual power", and "divine wisdom and, Ki or Qi means "life force" or "energy". So Reiki means "spiritually guided life-force or in other words it is universal life-force energy that is guided by a higher spiritual (divine) wisdom.

The Guiding Principals of Reiki?
Reiki is not the transfer of energy alone. Mikao Usui gave five guiding principles that have become the bedrock of the Reiki technique. You can practice these precepts for their inherent value as well. The principles are: just for today anger not, just for today worry not, be grateful, work on yourself with appreciation, and be kind to all living things. Reiki is a natural, safe, and simple method of healing and it works for everyone. It can also work in tandem with other, therapeutic, and medical treatments, promoting recovery, and relieving side effects. Reiki can do no harm.
Unlike other healing techniques, Reiki is not 'taught' in the traditional sense. The Reiki Master transfers Reiki to his student through an 'attunement' process. Later, the student can tap into the all-pervading life force, which contains unlimited energy and improve the health and quality of life, for himself and others around him.
Reiki is not a religion and there are no dogmas here. You do not need to believe in anything to learn or use Reiki. There is no belief system either. Call 925-586-5615 for an appointment or email at email@example.com. You will receive a response within 24 hours.
